One attraction in UEA seems interesting, The Deira Clock tower, sometimes referred to as the Dubai Clocktower, is a circle in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Today are most popular hotels and extra ordinary building this roundabout is important because it was one of first landmarks in Dubai. The Clocktower is placed in eastern Dubai in Deira, at the intersection of Umm Hurair Road and route D 89 (Al Maktoum Road). Builded in the locality of Al Rigga, the Deira Clocktower, nowdays a prominent attraction in Deira, provides access to the Al Maktoum Bridge, the prototype land crossing constructed between Deira and Bur Dubai.
Like many of Dubai’s early architectural projects, the Clocktower was constructed by Overseas AST in around 1964. However, by 1972, the monument had started to crack and corrode the steel reinforcements, as a result of the unwashed beach sand utilized for the concrete. As a result, the Clocktower was reconstructed in 1972.
Dubai’s Clock tower is settled in Diera but was not called Diera Clock tower. Clock tower was erected as a symbol of Dubai and placed in Diera because that was where major routes into Dubai converged prior to the construction of Dubai and Abu Dhabi Route.
Other interesting landmarks of Dubai that we altogether knows are Burj Dubai is a skyscraper below building in the super tall Dubai, Jumeirah Seashore Hotel is a 5-star hotel in style Dubai and The Burj al-Arab is a luxury hotel in Dubai. If you have chance to visit Dubai don’t miss it. Be prepared for fantastic architectural landmarks, very pleasant people, great food and shopping.
